Rosewood is a national award-winning beach that features a nature cove for ecological and nature programs, a guarded swimming beach, and a recreation beach. Nestled against Rosewood’s wooded bluffs is a one-of-a-kind beachfront Interpretive Center and amenity buildings including concessions, restrooms, and guard building connected by a boardwalk that runs the length of the beach.
During the swimming season (Memorial Day-Labor Day), swimming hours for the beach are subject to change depending on weather, crowds, and wave conditions. Certified lifeguards supervise the beach during public swimming hours, regardless of weather conditions. A sign is posted that indicates when lifeguards are not on duty.
