West Ridge Park was acquired in 1953. The District leased the building, once West Ridge School, from the School District and moved their offices to this location in 1979. In 1993 the Park District acquired the West Ridge Center Building.

West Ridge Park sits on 10 acres of land and is home to the Park District of Highland Park Administrative Offices.
