Join together with the community on Monday, January 16, 2023, for the 14th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.  This federal holiday honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a perfect opportunity to pay tribute to Dr. King’s legacy through service.

Hosted by City of Highland Park’s Human Relations Advisory Group and the Park District of Highland Park, the in-person event will be held at the Recreation Center of Highland Park from 10am-12:30pm.  Guests are also invited to participate in a wide variety of service projects facilitated by local organizations including making valentine’s for veterans, bookmarks for books, friendship pins, dignity bags for the homeless, thank you notes for first responders, and more.
