It might seem like trees are sleeping in the middle of the winter, and many cultures see this as a special time for the trees. Learn about the Jewish New Year of the Trees: a time when trees are honored for all they do for us. We will tell some tree stories, go on a tree walk, enjoy some fruit, and discover why the trees’ new year happens in the middle of winter!
All are welcome at this program; Jewish traditions will be discussed among other global traditions about trees in winter.
Pre-registration required. All participants, children and adults, must register for the program. Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult. Children under 2 are FREE and do not need to be registered. Program is outdoors so please dress for the weather.
